There has been a lot of talk around the office this afternoon about “New Music Tuesdays”… and the mysterious reasons behind why all records are released today vs any other day of the week. Today, we will highlight this fantastic day in music each week with a post about awesome new albums that are just hitting the stores.

The Barr Brothers drop their self-titled debut album today (September 27th) via Secret City Records. They might sound familiar to Fox Fans - Brad and Andrew Barr are two-thirds of The Slip! Be sure to catch them when they open for Alexi Murdoch on October 26th - Nab your tickets right here!
Our friends over at Pretty Lights Music are dropping THE HOTTNESS with not 1, but 2 new releases! Don’t you dare miss the Pretty Lights Showcase on November 17th featuring these two artists with Michal Menert & Gramatik. Get yo tickets here!!

The first comes from Paul Basic, a Colorado producer who has been developing his own brand of beats fusing dusty samples with hard hitting drums and razor-sharp basslines. Now available for free download is Paul Basic’s debut on the PLM Label “The Mirror.”

The sounds created and played by SuperVision are the works of Richard Blake Hansen. SuperVision is not about one sound. Instead it is about many sounds brought together with an approach that delivers a stylistic sound design that isn’t classified with one or two words. It is a sound that you can count on evolving without departing from what makes it unique. Available now for free download is his latest project “Telescopic”
Enjoy! And we’ll see you at the shows!
